When your new R1Soft Backup Account is created Memset will use your Memset account password as the default. It is strongly advised to change this password to a new, unique password when you first log into the R1Soft Control Panel.

Updating the password is done by clicking on the drop down arrow in the top right with your username next to it;

From within that menu select the "Settings" option;

This will then open a Popup Window similar to the below;


From here the "Change Password" section will allow you to change the current password in use to a new value of your choice. Additionally the Email Address and interface language can all be changed.

Backup Servers

These changes will only be applied to the account contained within this Backup Server, if you have multiple Servers with R1Soft Backups Enabled, they may be on separate Backup Servers and so the change will need to be applied to all Backup Servers.

This does not apply to customers with their own Dedicated Backup Servers.

Once you have made your changes, press the "Save" button for them to be applied.

Forgot Your Password

If you have forgotten your password and are unable to access your R1Soft Backup Account, please contact our Technical Support Team who will be able to reset the password for you.
